Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 28, 2026

For the rules about using this site, see our Terms of Use.

This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written in plain English on purpose. If anything is unclear, please reach out using the details below.

Who we are and how to contact us

This website, www.sellsiouxempire.com, belongs to Tyler Stunes, REALTOR®. Tyler is an individual real estate agent licensed in South Dakota since 2015. He is a Broker Associate with Amy Stockberger Real Estate, and he runs this site as an individual agent under that brokerage. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Tyler Stunes, that individual agent.

Information you give us

When you fill out the contact form on the home page or the Contact page, we receive your first name, last name, email address, and your message. Those forms also include an optional phone number field. It is not required, and you can leave it blank.

When you sign up on the Newsletter page, we receive your first name, last name, and email address.

We only collect what you choose to type into these forms. Please do not send sensitive personal details, such as financial or medical information, through a form on this site.

Information we collect automatically

Like most websites, this one records some information automatically as you browse. That can include your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you here, and your approximate location based on your IP address.

It comes from the analytics built into Squarespace, the platform this site runs on, and from the Meta Pixel described below.

Cookies and tracking

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses them in two ways.

  • Squarespace cookies. This site runs on Squarespace, which sets cookies that help the site work properly and that collect basic analytics about how visitors use it.
  • Meta Pixel. A Meta (Facebook) Pixel is installed on this site and loads from connect.facebook.net. The pixel uses cookies to record visits and actions on the site. Meta uses that information for advertising and retargeting, which means ads for this business may follow you to Facebook or Instagram after you visit.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block them, some parts of the site may not work as expected.

This site links to other websites, such as the SiouxFalls.Business article and social media pages. Once you follow a link off this site, that other site has its own privacy practices and this policy no longer applies. Please review the policy of any site you visit.

Phone calls and text messages

Some forms on this site include a phone number field. Giving your number is optional. If you choose to give it, you are asking us to contact you about your inquiry, and you agree that we may call or text you at that number.

We do not run a recurring automated text messaging program, and we do not send marketing texts to a list of numbers. If you do receive a text from us, these terms apply:

  • Message frequency varies. We text only when there is a reason to reach out about your inquiry.
  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
  • Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
  • Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Your phone number is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Consent to receive calls or texts is never a condition of buying or selling a home, or of doing business with us. You can ask us to stop calling or texting at any time by emailing tyler@amystockberger.com.

How we use information

  • To respond to your questions and inquiries.
  • To provide the real estate services you ask for.
  • To send newsletters and updates you have asked to receive.
  • To keep internal records, understand what visitors find useful, and improve the site.
  • To advertise this business and to retarget visitors through Meta.
  • To comply with the law and to protect this site and its visitors.

How we share information

We share information only in the limited ways described here.

  • Squarespace. Squarespace, Inc. is the website platform and hosts this site. It processes form submissions and site analytics on our behalf.
  • Meta. The Meta Pixel sends information about visits to Meta for advertising, ad measurement, and retargeting.
  • Spam protection. Form submissions are checked by Google reCAPTCHA, which helps tell real people from bots. That service works under Google’s own privacy policy.
  • Service providers. Trusted providers may handle information when they help run this site or this business. They are expected to use it only for that purpose.
  • Legal requirements. Information may be shared when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect rights, safety, or property.

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent or trade it either.

How long we keep information, and how we protect it

We keep information for as long as it is needed to serve you as a client or to respond to your inquiry, and for as long as the law requires us to keep it. When information is no longer needed for either reason, we remove it.

We use reasonable measures to protect the information this site collects. That said, no system is perfectly secure, so please use care with what you send online.

Your privacy rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you. You can ask us to correct it if it is wrong. You can ask us to delete it. You can also opt out of marketing messages at any time.

To make a request, email tyler@amystockberger.com and include enough detail for us to find your information, such as the email address you used. We will confirm we received it and respond within 45 days.

South Dakota residents, and visitors from other places with their own privacy laws, may contact us to exercise these rights. We will not discriminate against anyone for making a request.

To opt out of Meta advertising based on your activity, you can adjust the ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.

California residents

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information a business has collected about you, to ask for a copy of it, to ask that it be deleted, and to ask that it not be sold or shared. You will not be treated differently for making a request.

This site does not sell or share personal information in the sense those terms are used in that law, and it does not build profiles of visitors for cross-site advertising beyond the Meta Pixel described above. To make a request, email tyler@amystockberger.com.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given information here, please email the address above and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the effective date at the top of the page will change too. This version is effective October 28, 2026.
